Solutions to the crack problem Optimisation of the cooling process:


Reasonable design of casting: in the design of casting, it should be ensured that a reasonable temperature gradient can be formed during the cooling process of electrofused bricks, so that the product can be cooled layer by layer in order to reduce the generation of internal stresses and cracks. ·

Strengthen the heat preservation measures: adopt the heat preservation materials with excellent performance, reduce the cooling speed, reduce the temperature gradient, and prevent the thermal stress caused by rapid cooling. ·

Optimise the annealing process: By controlling the annealing temperature and time , make the product maintain a uniform temperature field during the crystallisation process to reduce the generation of cracks. Improve the material formula: ·

Add anti-cracking agent: add appropriate amount of anti-cracking agent, such as rare earth oxides in the compound to improve the anti-cracking performance of the material. ·

Adjust the chemical composition: Reasonably control the content of sodium oxide and other additives in the raw material to optimise the proportion of alumina in the product and improve the density and strength of the product.
