The corundum-mullite castable product uses corundum and mullite as the main raw materials, combined with ultrafine powder, and employs binders and additives to achieve high strength, wear resistance, and good thermal shock performance. It is a type of amorphous refractory material with high strength at medium temperatures, good thermal shock resistance, and excellent erosion and wear resistance.

Corundum-mullite castable is primarily composed of brown corundum and mullite aggregates, utilizing ultrafine powder technology, combined with white cement and additives.
The mullite contained in corundum-mullite castable is relatively rare in nature, characterized by high purity, large density, good structural organization, low creep rate, small thermal expansion, good thermal shock resistance, and strong chemical erosion resistance. Mullite has good high-temperature creep resistance. During use, mullite forms a protective film and has good flexibility, making it suitable for high-temperature, high-wear, and highly corrosive areas.
The high-temperature performance of corundum-mullite castable can rival that of magnesia, silica, and corundum products, with good thermal shock resistance and decent resistance to acid and low-alkali slag erosion.
Corundum-mullite castable is widely used in high-temperature industries. Due to the use of excellent raw materials, it is extensively applied in the high-temperature zones of industrial furnaces and kiln mouths, as well as in key areas with strong erosion in kilns.
