Corundum bricks refer to refractory brick products with an Al2O3 content greater than 90%, primarily composed of corundum as the main crystalline phase. They have high compressive strength at room temperature (up to 140 MPa) and a high load softening temperature (greater than 1700°C).

Characteristics of corundum bricks: Corundum bricks have resistance to acidic and alkaline chemical properties, slag, metals, and glass melts. They can achieve good performance in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres at high temperatures.
The basic raw materials for corundum bricks include sintered corundum and electrofused corundum, which are made into sintered corundum bricks and electrofused corundum bricks, respectively. Other mineral raw materials can also be added to form composite materials, such as zircon corundum bricks, chrome corundum bricks, and titanium corundum bricks, to improve their performance and adapt to various usage environments.
