Production method:

Fused zirconia corundum brick is made of pure alumina powder, zirconia sand, desilicated zirconium as the main raw materials in the electric melting furnace fully melted at high temperature injected into the model, heat preservation and annealing and cooling and the formation of the solid, its crystalline phase structure consists of corundum phase with zirconium plagioclase phase and glass phase. Crystallographically speaking, it is the eutectic of corundum phase and zirconium plagioclase phase, and the glass phase fills in between their crystallization.

Casting method:

The casting methods of electrofused zirconia corundum bricks are normal casting, tilted casting, shrinkage-free casting and .

PT—Ordinary Casting

The usual casting method, the shrinkage hole of the product is located in the lower part of the casting mouth, mostly used in the upper part of the melting pool flame space parts, such as not in contact with the glass solution or erosion is not serious parts.

 

QX—Inclined Casting

A tilted casting method is used to create a slant in the mold, and the riser is placed at the other end for casting. The shrinkage hole of the product is placed at the lower end, which is suitable for the products with the length >60mm, mainly used for pool wall bricks.

 

WS—Non Shrinkage Casting

The non-shrinkage products with the shrinkage part of the casting bricks removed, mainly used in liquid holes, kiln cans, corners of the pool wall, pavement and other seriously eroded parts.

 

ZWS—Quasi Non Shrinkage Casting

Similar to non-shrinkage casting, basically removed the shrinkage part of the cast brick, mainly used for pool wall bricks.
