Product Introduction
Product Details
Product Overview:
Phosphate castables have a composition similar to general castables, with aggregates and powders made of corundum, high-alumina, clay, silica, and magnesia. They feature high refractoriness, high strength, and good thermal shock stability. They are a type of castable used at higher temperatures.
Product Details:
The composition of phosphate refractory castables is similar to that of general refractory castables. Phosphoric acid aluminum and phosphoric acid react slowly with neutral and acidic aggregates at room temperature. To impart room temperature hardening properties to the castable, a hardener must be used. Hardeners include reactive aluminum hydroxide, talc, ammonium fluoride, magnesium oxide, basic aluminum chloride, and pure calcium aluminate cement. Magnesium oxide is a commonly used hardener with good hardening effects, but the magnesium phosphate generated from the reaction has poor heat resistance, leading to a decrease in hot strength. The hardening time when using magnesium oxide as a hardener varies significantly with temperature.
The reaction between phosphoric acid aluminum, phosphoric acid, and aggregates can lead to the formation of insoluble substances, causing changes in the material over time, which may result in a decline in construction performance or even failure after a period of storage. When using aluminum dihydrogen phosphate liquid as a binder, the following reactions can occur rapidly, causing aging changes. The reaction between phosphoric acid aluminum, phosphoric acid, and iron contained in the raw materials can affect aging changes. The mixed mud also has a corrosive effect on the mixing machine itself, leading to equipment damage, so aging inhibitors and additives with mitigating effects must be added to the material. Phosphate bonded castables have good thermal shock resistance, high compressive strength, good resistance to slag erosion, and strong impact resistance.
The phosphate castable series of refractory materials features high strength at medium to high temperatures, strong impact resistance, good thermal shock resistance, and good resistance to slag erosion. The operating temperature is 1400~1600℃.
