Silica sealant material is a plastic-type amorphous refractory material, its main component is SiO2, made from specially processed clinker and various binders and additives. This product has excellent high-temperature resistance, with various high-temperature performance indicators such as refractoriness, load softening point, and high-temperature creep significantly exceeding those of silica bricks, and it also has good resistance to glass and furnace dust erosion.

This product is a silica sealing material used for sealing and insulation in glass melting furnaces, hot blast stoves, and coke oven silica brick masonry. It is made from silica materials primarily composed of quartz and special ultra-fine powders in the formulation, along with various binders and additives, processed through special techniques. This product has excellent high-temperature resistance, with various high-temperature performance indicators such as refractoriness, load softening point, and high-temperature creep significantly exceeding those of silica bricks, and it also has good resistance to glass and furnace dust erosion. This product has a strong bonding ability with bricks, is in a plastic state at room temperature, can be shaped freely, hardens immediately upon heating, and bonds firmly with the bricks to form an integral structure. The construction is simple, suitable for high-temperature repairs, greatly improving working conditions for workers.
Its main performance characteristics are:
① Excellent high-temperature resistance, with refractoriness, load softening temperature, and other high-temperature indicators superior to high-quality silica bricks.
② Good resistance to glass and alkali dust erosion.
③ Processed using special techniques, the product has a dense structure after sintering, low porosity, strong thermal shock resistance, and high-temperature volume stability.
④ The silica sealing material is in a plastic mud-like state at room temperature, can be shaped freely, hardens immediately upon heating, bonds firmly with the original bricks, and forms a strong integral structure through high-temperature ceramic bonding with the original bricks.
