Production method:

The raw materials for the production of sillimanite bricks mainly include sillimanite, andalusite, zircon, mullite, alumina powder, and bonded clay. The high-temperature tunnel kiln is heated at a temperature of 1450-1500°C for 10-12 hours and fired. After natural cooling for 48-52 hours, the finished brick blank is taken out of the kiln to obtain high-temperature silica wire stone bricks.

Sillimanite brick characteristics: with low thermal expansion rate, resistance to metallurgical slag and various glass liquid erosion, high temperature wear resistance and other characteristics. Its physical and chemical properties are better than high alumina bricks, the refractoriness is 1770~1830 ℃, and the starting point of load softening is 1500~1650 ℃. Sillimanite decomposes at high temperature to produce mullite and silica. Its volume expansion effect can effectively offset the volume shrinkage of products during high temperature firing, limit local stress, prevent and passivate the generation of cracks, improve the thermal shock resistance of products, reduce mechanical spalling, thus improving the performance of products and prolonging the service life.

Main application scope: glass kiln arch, electric furnace cover brick, material channel cover plate insulation, burner brick, heat storage tank furnace strip, front and rear arch brick, etc!
